Bangrak beach is about peace and tranquility. If you are looking for a lively scene, head to Chaweng or Lamai. That said, there are still plenty of bars, restaurants and agencies on the main street to service tourists and it is only 15 km to Chaweng. Bangrak is in a convenient location, close to several of the piers, the airport and Bo Phut’s “Fisherman’s Village” of high end shops and restaurants.

Getting there
Ban Sabai Big Buddga Retreat & Spa is on Bangrak beach, just west of Big Buddha Pier. The taxi driver should know this pier. Confusingly, it is part of the postal district of Bophut – but Bophut beach is actually a few kilometers west.
