Environment - All employees are active in keeping the surrounding streets and beaches cleaner, greener and safer by picking up any rubbish on or near the property and separating recyclables such as glass, plastic and paper.

Social - Mai Samui Beach Resort gives back to the local community by sponsoring the local post office for their annual sports day.

Community - Mai Samui is dedicated to ensuring staff are looked after and their careers are developed. Mai Samui conducts an English Training Program and Cross Cultural Training for all their local staff.

Experience & Preservation - The aim of Koh Samui tourism is sustainable tourism focusing on the preservation of the Samui coconut tree. Mai Samui Beach Resort, in helping to preserve the tree and associated culture revolving around coconut decorations runs activity programs for guests by using natural products. For example, a fun activity run for children is to use a coconut shell, punch a hole in the top and then put string through it so children can walk on top of the coconut shells.
